  • How the session works.

    When you arrive you will be asked to scan the QR code at check in, and sign your Online E-Waiver. After that the Coach of your session will ask you a few simple questions about previous training and any pre-existing injuries.

    When the session starts, your Coach will ask everyone to gather around the Whiteboard and they will discuss the Warm Up and some part of the days training. Following that, the group will start warming up, and you’ll move through the next 60minutes with the rest of the group under the guidance of your Coach.

    The coach will be engaging with all athletes at different times ensuring you are moving safely, understand what’s being asked of you, and making sure you are having a productive sessions.

    Expect to have a fun and busy hour, expect to get to know some new fitness movements, expect to get hot & sweaty, and expect to meet some new friends and have a great time.

    Our coaches are not here to get you to work beyond your own comfort level. (That’s up to you!) Our coaches are here to ensure you have a a safe, fun and effective workout.

    What to bring

    Standard training attire, water bottle and sweat towel is all you need to get started. Some people will bring various training equipment but for now its not necessary.

    After your Free Trial you will receive an email with a list of options and memberships packages and details about our Intro program. Have a read over these options carefully and think about what sounds best for you.

    You will then be contacted by one of our coaches and we can talk through these options and put a plan in place to get your started.

    Things to think about when selecting a membership: budget, how much time you have available to train, what days and times work best for you.

FAQs

Am I fit enough?

This is a very common question. The short answer is yes! The best analogy we can give is that “you don’t learn to drive a car, before you learn to drive a car” Same with fitness. None of us walk in as fit as we walk out. Every day there are improvements.

The main thing to remember is that there is no judgement about anybody’s level of fitness. It is what it is.

What sort of weight should I use?

One of the main responsibilities of the Coach is to ensure Athlete’s are moving safely and when weights are involved, that the loading is correct. During your session, if weights are involved, the Coach will constantly be checking in to make sure your weight selection is right for you. 

If at any stage the Coach feels you have too much weight, they will reduce that weight.

What if I hold back the group?

It’s natural to think that you might hold the group back or be ‘last to finish’ but in all likelihood this will not occur. The Coach may slightly vary your workout to ensure you finish in a specific time, or ask you stick to a specific number of sets and reps.

Is there showers? Can I shower after my session?

Yes. We have a Unisex shower and a Female shower. 

Do you offer Open Gym? Can I stay back after my session to do extras?

We offer Open Gym to Unlimited Members. Open Gym is available Mon-Fri 3:30-5pm

If you want to stay back after your session it’s at the discretion of the Coach. (Coaches will do pretty much anything for a Coffee. Just saying!)
